How do I get my Samsung Galaxy S3 S.D.S out of a restart loop?

hi all.

I have an S3 and it recently started to get stuck in the restart loop but every now and again after taking the battery out it started working normally again. But one day it got stuck in the restart loop and would not come out of it. After taking the phone apart i noticed there was a slight crack on the motherboard right next to the power button and this was causing the restart loop.

I just wondered if anyone knew if there was a way of getting the phone to work again even for an hour or so as there is a lot of important things on my phone i need to take off before i upgrade to an S5.

Any response on this is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! It's conceivable that the motherboard damage is incidental. Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ing-into-recovery-mode-galaxy-s2-s3-tab2.html
