How do I get out of a group text message on the galaxy note 5?

I was included in a group text with 19 other people and every time some one responds, I get the text too. I want to get out of the group.

You're stuck, I believe. This has more to do with their settings than yours. You could temporarily block the numbers, though.

I feel your pain. My daughter is in cheerleading and the cheer coach sends out a group text and I always get all of their replies

Yep. I'm in the same boat. You have to get the person who started the chat to delete you. There's no other way.

If you're are constantly using group text then try using an app like groupme. This app saves me because you can mute and unmute when you choose. I have about 7 groups that I'm a part of

If you use hangouts you can mute the chat... Not sure if you can mute stock sms...

I was able to get out of them by selecting more in the upper right, and then "conversation settings" and then leave conversation.

I tried that as well but when the group stats I still get the messages

Try Textra SMS. It is made by the same people who make Chomp SMS. I have been using them for years.

I found a new SMS app.

text them back to take you out of the stupid group text. always works for me....
