Let's see your Pixel 10 and 10 Pro photos!

Here's Minnie Belle my Chiweenie. The collar is because she's an escape artist.

Wow, that light olive colour is cool. The egg has a different shape too. Are the light brown eggs from different types of chickens than the dark brown eggs?
I have 3 different breeds of chickens. We have rhode island reds that lay the light olive colored eggs. Then the barred rock chicken lay the bigger brown eggs and we have silver laced wyandottes that lay the smaller light colored brown eggs.

My grandparents had a farm in South Louisiana many many years ago. I can remember all the different chickens and eggs. I always thought they lay according to their color. And now you're telling me there's different breeds? Live and learn

Could you share some photos of chickens from each of these three breeds? As a city dweller I only know brown eggs and white eggs but nothing about chicken breeds. I do love eggs, though.

These are called black maran chickens. This one is squawking at me for interrupting her afternoon siesta!
:-) She lays bigger and darker brown eggs

These 2 are the Rhode island reds hybrids that lay the light olive colored eggs.
They are to oldest hens and they are mean to the others...they are at the top of the pecking order!

Their breed names fit their looks perfectly.

The 2 reds are called The Golden Girls in my mind
