how do i get pictures off of my g flex phone to clear up space

I need to clear space on my phone and it looks like my photos and videos are taking up space

Two choices.... either use the built-in Gallery application that LG loads on the phone, or if you use Google Photos (which you SHOULD, by the way), you can go to the menu and select "On Device" and delete them there.
