How do I get rid of 2 screensl

When I power up N7 it comes up with a screen that say My Library
and a Nexus 7 Guide book and some Rolling Stone Cover etc.

There's also a screen that says Recommended on Play and
Recommended Apps.

They are obstructing my wallpaper. How do I eliminate them?

It's a widget. Just long press it, then drag up to the "Remove" area.
