I have the Moto T2. Yes, I'm running Go Launcher. I was running it on my Droid Maxx but the Maxx couldn't run anything higher than 4.1.1. Is that the issue?

I went back to the original launcher and it worked. It was the Go Launcher that was causing the need for double swipe. Thanks for the fix.

I haven't used Go launcher but I think you can set some gestures to perform different actions. Have you enabled any of them? That swipe you mentioned, is it from the status bar or anywhere on the screen?

It was from the top. Now I have the normal notification bar at the top. Before the notification bar was missing but gave me more screen. I lost the top half inch of screen when I went back to stock because the remove feature is there. Also, I lost the ability to have the home/default screen be the center of the home screens, but I can work around that. Is there a way to recover the top portion of the screen and wrestle it from the "Remove" feature?

I'm not sure if it would work with Go but this is what I do with Nova. Status bar and Google search widget are off and I set the swipe down gesture to expand notifications, so it works anywhere on the home screen.
