How do I get rid of LG TV remote on Note 4 phone

I've been trying to get rid of LG TV remote on my note 4. I'm not finding an app in manage apps or app listing nor a widget. there doesn't seem to be any place on my phone to get rid of it. So what's the solution to get it off my phone!

That sounds as if you have a shortcut but not an app. Long-press the app and see if you get a 'remove' choice or, depending on the launcher you're using, look to see (when you're long-pressing it) if there's a trash can at the top center of the page. If there is, drag it there.
