How do I get rid of McAfee Family Protection? Please help!

OK ladies and gents. I am new here, and this may have been addressed already. If it has I apologize. I have an LG G4 with Marshmellow on Verizon. I made the mistake of downloading McAfee Family Protection. It is only a trial mode, but that trial lasts for 30 days. When I try to deactivate it as device administrator, it wants a user name and password (I can't get it to accept any of my answers). Also, it will put a big lock image on my screen and wont let me do anything else until I reactivate it. Surely one of you guys has dealt with this scourge of a product and knows how to remove it without a password? If not, will I just have to wait until the trial is over? Will it revert back? Now I see why John McAfee hates the product so much. Please help, thanks in advance.

If you don't have the password you might have to factory reset your phone

You must have set up an account with mac and created a user name and password to start with? Or use your email address and click on forgot password option....
