how do I get ride of this when I lock the screen of the note 5

Only way without root that I found was to go into developer options, scroll down and turn off Animator Duration Scale. But beware, this does take away your circle loading icon in most if not all apps. But, the screen shut off is almost instantaneous without it.

Find about phone, click on build number a bunch of times until you see developer options open up
