How do I get tasker to tell time on demand on LG V10 in holster?

how to get tasker to tell time on demand on LG V10 in holster

I like my new LG V10, and carry it in a holster case on my hip.

I'd like it to tell time on demand. Discussions made it easy to program say time.

My problem is how to trigger this.

First thought was when I push the unlock button conveniently located on the back.

Unfortunately, the phone senses that it is in the holster (selfie cameras are covered), so it seems to ignore the unlock button. Is there a setting to avoid this?

My second choice was to flap the phone and holster. But again, this does not work when the phone is in the holster.

Suggestions or other ideas appreciated.
