How do I get the "Just once/ Always" menu back?

I keep trying to download games/ apps using Files but I accidentally clicked an editing app as my "Use Always". I really want to download a game that's not on Google Play with Files but it keeps taking me to the editing app whenever I try. It'd be great if someone could tell me how to fix this, because it has become really annoying.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Try going to the System Settings, then tap Menu, and look for a Reset All App Preferences option.

So what you did was you made that app your default app for that action. If B. Diddy's suggestion doesn't work follow the path I lay out below.

Go to Settings>Applications>(find the app you made your "always" choice)>Set as default>Clear defaults.

Once you've cleared the app as the default any actions associated with the app will go back to asking which app you want to use and again offer you the "This time" and "Always" options. This is how I usually get back to where it asks.
