How do I get the LG PC Suite to work on backing up the phone?

LG PC Suite backup problem

Hi, I just purchased an LG-D855 with 32GB of memory. Nice. But I can't get the LG PC Suite to work on backing up the phone. I've got no problem with the PC recognizing the phone. In fact, that's how I've transferred music files to the SD card. So the backup starts, seems to run for a long time (> 1 hour) then it gives me an error message saying it failed to backup.

Any ideas on a fix here?

I've noticed the same thing. I'm not too worried about it, since I have photos backed up to Google's cloud AND Dropbox - and all my music is stored on my computer as well. The only thing I might loose that I might miss are my text messages. Apps/data are mostly backed up by Google, and while it's kind of a pain - setting up my home screens isn't that difficult since I generally rely on a fairly minimalistic setup anyway.

Important stuff I make sure I've got backed up on my computer, and the rest - well, if it's important I'll back it up and if it's not, then I won't worry about it.

Easy,... Use Airdroid from Play store. No LG suite. I use it. Easy.
