Android Central Question

I have a Cubot phone, the model is called Power.
I've been having a bunch of issues, one leading to the next. Let's see.
1. Sometimes the fingerprint sensor would stop working. Rebooting the phone fixes this, but it's annoying.
2. Twice until now, upon rebooting the phone to fix the fingerprint sensor, the bios was not recognized, and I was forced to format the phone.
3. I realized that my phone would not find any updates and tell me I'm on the latest version even though you can see on the official website that there's two updates. So I downloaded them on my computer and then put them on the phone's SD card.
4. I tried to make a local update using the earliest of the two updates, but I got an error and it didn't work.
5. Now that I'm back in the phone, the SD card is not detected at all. Even if I connect the phone with a USB cable to my computer, the card doesn't show.
How can I get at least the SD card to be seen by my phone again? Or perhaps, how could I fix all the other problems too?

Welcome to Android Central! Which Cubot phone? Do the problem persist in Safe Mode? https://www.hardreset.info/devices/cubot/cubot-j7/safe-mode/

Are you certain the system updates on the Cubot website are for your exact phone variant and region? Firmware updates can be very specific, so they might not be intended for your phone.

If you remove the card and insert it into your computer's SD reader, can it be read there? If not, then the card itself is dead -- it might have been corrupted beyond recovery during the attempted update. Try a different SD card.
