How do i get to add reminders to my lock screen?

I have tried a number of different apps on my android lollipop phone to add reminders,quotes etc on my lock screen.I have tried pushbullet but you can only add a few words per reminder.Its just not suitable.I have done google searches but alas nothing worthwhile.
Assistance or advice appreciated?
