How do I get to ny files?

I don't see a "my files" or "file" icon in my app drawer so how do I get to the files on my phone?

There are lots of file managers out there, many of them free. I use ES File Explorer personally. It works great for browsing your phone's contents and transferring files from the network to your device.

Sounds great, i know of these apps, was wondering why there is no file manager that shipped with the phone.
