Try clear same for my files appSandisk brand new. Just opened it yesterday and popped it into my phone. Downloaded some videos to it straight away and I can go into the sd card and play them just fine, they just won't show in the gallery.

You signed into your Samsung account in Gallery?Yeah nothing. Just powered down and took out SD and put it back in and powered on and nothing still.
That's how I tested itWhat if you copy the video file into the /DCIM/Camera directory on the SD card?
Where those videos already on your sd card ?Moving it to the DCIM Camera worked! Thank you so much lol this has been troubling me since last night.

Yeah that's why they didn't show glad it good nowYeah they were in another fold on the SD card. I just selected that folder and moved it to DCIM/Camera and now they show in the Samsung Gallery.

Sure no problem , is it in Samsung folder in the app drawerDon't want to make another thread for this so since it's kind of related I'll ask here. I have MX Player and Samsung Video Player. I like both, but kind of prefer the Samsung player. I can't seem to find the icon for the Samsung player though. Videos just open to the player be default but I can't find it in my app drawer.

This one correct?View attachment 319903
Yeah that one in play storeJust found that in the store. That works but is the video library app which is separate from the player. But when I click a video in that app it brings up the samsung player so that seems to be well enough. Thanks!
Yeah that one in play store
I only use the Samsung one , maybe others can chime in on other ones.I downloaded it from the galaxy store but yeah it's in the play store too. Do you have a preference for video players? I like that the Samsung player has a button to take screenshots seamlessly and also has a minimize button like Netflix/YouTube.
Ok, so back to my previous question -- can you see photos saved on the SD card in your Gallery app? Is the problem limited to videos?
