How do I go about connecting my Galaxy S5 mini to my Hisense smart tv?

Connecting my galaxy. S5 mini to my hisense smart tv

I am trying to use screen mirroring to connect my Samsung Galaxy s5 mini to my hisense TV. The phone recognises the TV, and the TV sees the phone but when I try to pair with screen mirroring I get a message on my phone after a few seconds saying failed to connect via screen mirroring. Please help
