How do I have different sounds for email notification versus text message notification?

Do I need to install an app for this because I can't find it anywhere? Thanks.

If you're using the stock e-mail client, it should be under the app's Settings and each of your accounts. For instance, if you have an Exchange account, select that and you should see a "Select Ringtone" there.

If you're using GMail, the same would apply. Go into the app's settings, select your account, and go to "Inbox sound & vibrate"

Exactly. Same goes for texts you go to messaging and it gives you the option to set just a messaging notification sound

My personal ringtones aren't available for me to select when trying to organize my ringtones by e-mail and text messages, only through my Contacts can I select them. Is that the normal or am I missing something?
