how do u hide pictures in my gallery on galaxy s5

How do u hide pictures now? On my galaxy s4 I could hide them and now I have the galaxy s5 I can't.

Their is a app called gallery lock that works really good at keeping pics hidden

Add a period b4 the file name example my files vacation pics=in gallery. .vacation pics=not in gallery. But can be found in files. Its as simple as tht a period before any file name will remove video or pics from gallery. U want them to show up again change file name remove period no app or private mode required.

You can turn private mode on and move the pictures you want to private.

Note....I created nomedia files (putting the period before the file name). This did hid the pictures, but I was unable to locate the file on the android file folder system. (I have a galaxy s5 with android 5.0) I had to install a secondary app (es file explorer) I'm not advocating for the app, but it did allow me to locate the files. I could not find a way to rename them, so i moved them into a different folder and just deleted the nomedie ones.

You can always get the photo locker app.....and they have video locker app also.....

This is great. Just have to remember to enable "view hidden files" in settings when browsing My Files - I thought I had deleted an album!

I use Hide it Pro.

Looks like an Audio Manager. Looks like an audio manager, but hides pictures, apps, music files etc. Been using it for years, and it works great.

And, BTW, it happens to be a nice little audio manager for real.

This works really well, no apps needed... Just change view hidden files In settings in the device storage settings

but why would you even take/save a photo if you dont want it to be in your gallery?if you are refering to hiding your photos when someone is using your phone,you can use private mode preinstalled on s5 already.
