Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have? If the phone was not certified for Google Play (which is often the case for phones intended for the Chinese market (and a few others), then you won't be able to install the Play Store.

Hi,

Open the settings, list of applications, and check if "Play Store" and "Google Play Services" apps are there; if they are there and disabled, you just need to activate them and update them.

If they are not available, there were not included in your smartphone ROM, or they have been deleted in Root mode. In those cases, you can't install Play Store, and need to install an alternative store such as F-Droid.

If your smartphone is a recent Huawei you can't have access to any Google apps (USA imposed restrictions). Huawei has its own store, and you can still install an alternative store.

If your smartphone uses an alternative Android, such as LineageOS, /e/OS or GrapheneOS, there are ways to install Play Store (GrapheneOS) or to install apps from the Play Store.
