How do I modify song info on an LG G3?

I cant seem to modify song info on lg g3

With the new lolipop upgrade I've seen some changes on my lg g3. One of the little anoying ones is that I can no longer modify my library song info.. Cannot correct artist name,song name,etc..I previously had the option to do so..anyone know anything about this?

I'm not sure if it matters where your files are located. My music is on an external SD card. I just tried using the File Manager and I was able to make changes by long pressing on a song or album file. From there one of the options is to rename.

No I tried that..didn't work..songs are saved to phone..I'm really just trying to correct spelling errors in songs and artists..there used to be a "modify" button when going to details on a song to edit info..not anymore

Using what app? Your music player? File manager?

I use an app called mp3dit that does a nice job.
