How do I move apps from internal storage on ZTE Speed to sd card?

Do I have to root phone? If so is there a root for the ZTE Speed from Boost?

To see if you can move portions of an app to the microSD (and you can only move a portion--not the whole app), go to Settings>Apps, and select an app. Look for a button that says Move to SD. If you don't see one, try a few other apps, since not all apps can be moved even on phones that allow it.
