How do i only allow my chrome book to charge up to 80% battery?

I have a chrome book, and I recently read that it is best to only allow your chrome book to charge up to 80%. I don't have the time, and I need a way to keep my battery life up. People bragged abt doing it in Crosh, but they bailed when I asked them how. can anyone help?

My next piece of advice would be to get an old slow charger that way you have an extended period of time before you have to check on it and hopefully you catch it before or around the time it reaches that magical percentage.

Welcome to Android Central! You could try installing AccuBattery, which on Android phones can be set to give an alert when the phone reaches a level that you pick. I'm not entirely sure if that works on Chromebooks, but it's worth a try.
