How do I open an android secured file on my android device that I did not put there my self

Looks like some one did it remotely to me Is that possible. I want to know what is in it and how it got there. It's an ASEC file

Welcome to Android Central! What's the full filename, and which directory is it in? Which phone do you have? Are you certain it's not a system app, or an app the manufacturer preinstalled?
