how do I over-ride the default time zone on my LG Optimus Fuel LGL34C cell phone?

I live in Oregon and daylight savings time went into effect but the time on the phone did not advance.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Date & Time. Is there a setting for Automatic Date & Time, as well as Automatic Time Zone?
