How do I pair Google Pixel XL?

I know my car part. But I cannot seem to find any info on how to pair the Pixel XL in terms of the steps I need to take with the phone. Can anyone give me this info, or supply a link?

You need to look in the owner's manual of you car. The Pixel works like every other phone. Open the Bluetooth menu page, and the car will be able to see it. The car will probably send a security code to the phone. Click pair on the phone, and confirm the code on the car head unit - something like that.

Actually, I tried that, but nothing showed up on the Pixel. I have heard that this has been trouble spot for the Pixel. I may have to check with the dealer.

u have to go to car bluetooth settings and make car discoverable and on ur phone open settings-->bluetooth and click on both devices at same time. I just did the paring on my car this way
