Well depends on your device but all you have to do is Press the "Home" button (usually the middle one ) or the Centered Icon on your screen then swipe till you find the Facebook icon and hold it then it should take you to your Main Panel and you just drag and let the icon go.

If it's not on a homescreen, it's in your app drawer (the icon with the little dots or squares, depending on the launcher). The apps are in alphabetical order, so you should be able to find it. Hold it, then drag it to the homescreen. From there you can drag it to wherever you want.

Sorry, we can't put the Facebook icon on the homescreen of your device. However, if you read the posts earlier in the thread there are suggestions as to how to do it yourself.

If after this reply you still unable to Drag the "Facebook icon" to Home screen
Provide the phone name. If like you said the FB icon is already installed
must be in the "Apps group" is an icon located on HomeScreen
with a bunch of tiny squares or dots the last-1 on first row O

Before proceed to Drag the FB-icon ensure you're on Home screen and that
you've space to Drop it down. Normally if fit 20 icons on each screen.

Now Tap the "Icon apps group" Tap+hold the FB icon-Then you'll
view the Home screen, slowly drag it to the desire position.

To Kathy58: If accidentally you deleted the Facebook icon try to Uninstall
the Facebook app. Depend of the Phone settings options..Look for
the apps Manager to popup installed apps list. In my SGs7
I'm able to locate Apps manager like that

I goto Settings >Applications >click Apps Manager >next Display apps list
Here find the Facebook app & click on Uninstall. To reinstall FB
open Google PlayStore find "Facebook app" and Bingo
reinstalled. The icon will be posted back on screen

The Facebook icon is Hidden-Hehe! - In the bottom of HomeScreen
1st row last icon that has-Small squares or circles inside it depends

of the Phone brand. Once spotted clicked to View all
the apps it can be 1 or 2Pages or Screens

If you want it visible on the HomeScreen. Scroll up to
