put Facebook icon on screen

Facebook is downloaded already. How do I finf and Facebook icon. On home screen.

Thank you
 I'm glad that my solution it helped you out. To spot the Facebook icon
on your phone @Bnblack2 : The FBook is an app that..Lastly phone
makers include in its "Default apps" aka=Also known as
app-Drawer in modern Android OS language

Any app included in AppDrawer is transferable to Phone screens
just tap on HomeScreen lower row-Last icon & these apps
will Popup. Then tap "Edit" +hold-Down

The app to drag it & Press+push hard against the
Screen-Edge where you wanna Drop it..G Luck

If you were able to find a post to copy and paste, you should also have found the solution in this thread. If still not working, let us know what you have tried and what the result was.

Even though the thread goes into detail about placing an icon/tab link to ones favorite social media.. I wanted to share my thoughts.

1) Downloading the app would or should place a link/quick access icon on your home screen. If after the download and the app does not place a quick link on your home page, you may be required to contact the app's developer.

2) Because I don't like app's draining my system I've resorted to placing web site tabs/links on my page. Even if this is done successfully, an icon of the host page should represent the host app's appearance or logo. In this case, if one opens the web browser to facebook and login.. Learn how to save the tab/link to you home page. Often this means click/tabbing a plus (+) which could be located on the left side of the browser. This should bring up a window asking where you would like to save this link to.

As a reminder, if you have an issue with an app.. it may not be related to your smart phone. Thus one would need to contact the app's developer/s and inform them of the issue.

Installing an app should lead to automatic creation of an app shortcut on the homescreen only if that setting is turned on in the Google Play Store app (open the Play Store, tap Menu>Settings, and check on "Add Icon to Home Screen"). If that option is turned off, then you'll see the app added to the App Drawer, after which you can create an app shortcut on the homescreen yourself. Be aware that this doesn't apply to phones whose stock UIs don't have an App Drawer, like Huawei's EMUI--on phones like that, all apps that are installed on the phone show up on the homescreen somewhere (similar to iPhones).

I agree about apps like Facebook hogging memory and battery--I also use the mobile web interface exclusively, instead of the app.

Welcom to AC :: The "Facebook icon" is installed in your phone is
Not shown in the Home-Screen, but it can Be viewed if you
Tap=Press the (Apps icon) located on most phones
in lower right corner of Home-Screen

To easy identified this-Important app it looks like a square figure
with a bunch of "Dots or Mini-squares" if in doubt ask your friend

Now if you wanna move a copy to Home screen: Make sure you're
located on Home screen..Tap the [••] apps icon and Press+Hold

the Facebook icon and Drag it to an empty space on your phone
Home-Screen is easy task. Try on & report results: SeeYa! 😎
