How do I recover my removed/uninstalled apps? They are still running in the background.

Welcome to the forums. If apps have been uninstalled then they are no longer on your device and can't use any data. What apps do you think are doing this?

Are you sure they are still there and using data (and thus not actually uninstalled)? It's possible that whatever you're using to check data usage is still showing their past usage in the current cycle. When the next billing cycle or whatever you go by comes around, then they should not show up again if they are uninstalled.

I actually have this issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7.
I have completely uninstalled and app.
When I go to Device Maintenance, Storage, Clean Now - there are background apps that get "Cleaned". The app that I uninstalled a while back shows up every time.
I have ensured that the app in uninstalled on my device and even check on the Google Play Store under "My Apps" to see if I have missed something. The app is not there either.
Any suggestions?
