How do i remove a google account from a phone that has already been factory reset

I recently bought a galaxy s20. It has been factory reset but the original google account needs to be removed in order to use the phone

Without the previous owner removing their account (because they know the email/password) you have just bought a paperweight. You need them to remove their account before you can do anything.
