How do I remove battery icon displayed on Upper Left of Samsung S5

I've attached screen shot and circled icon in white. How do I post another screenshot with notifications expanded?

Swipe down the notification bar.

I understand that.

My phone is in a dock all day and usually fully charged. I want to remove that icon from appearing even when battery is full and charged.

Can I do that?

That did not work. I already have power saving mode turned off and upgraded to lollipop 5.0 yesterday.

I am referring to battery icon on the upper LEFT hand side.

Just as a point of reference, the LEFT side is where the power saver icon is. Your icon from the screenshot, as others have pointed out, is the full charge indicator. As you're using a dock I don't believe you would be able to get rid of the full charge icon unless you were rooted and tweaked some internal code.

Ah now he mentions a dock lol. No you cant, because even though its at 100% its still actually charging, albeit trickle charging as its in your dock. As said you might be able to get around it somehow if rooted and using some custom hack/code.

Or when the phone is charged take the power supply out of the dock :idea:
