How do I remove manual update requests for bloatware apps?

I know this was talked about here before but I've searched and can't find it again.

I have four bloatware apps that the market wants me to manually update. How can I tell it once and for all I do not want to update those apps so that they don't show up on my app update list?

I don't think you can. However, why not just update them? That's what I do.

I find it much less stressfull to just push the update button than to worry about how to stop them. Takes just a few seconds and its over with.

If you really want to get rid of them, root. That's what I keep reading anyway.
