How do I remove my gmail off my Samsung Ace Phone?

My gmail is using too much of my data and I never use it. I use my comcast account off the internet. It also is beeping all night long which interupts my sleep. HELP

The only way you can remove any bloatware is by rooting your phone. Because Gmail app file is located in the system directory, and without root priviledge, you can't access the directory.

You can disable the app.... go to settings-apps-all... Find gmail, open and click on disable.

Or you can just disable it from syncing.. Accounts-Google-turn off gmail sync
