How do i remove swipe to unlock

[Android Central Question]

I was changing my password and I made it a pattern but when I turned of my phone the pattern didn't work I just swipped to unlock. And when I go to the settings it says enter pin but I never made a pin. How do I put a pin on my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? When you created your pattern, it should've asked you to enter it again for confirmation, just to make sure you didn't make a mistake -- you're absolutely sure you're entering it correctly?

Which phone do you have? Has this always been your phone?
