how do I remove the notifications on the lock screen

what's the last update on the Samsung 5 went from loving my phone to hating it. 1 thing I hate is now I have stupid notifications right over the front of my lock screen. Anyone know how to remove it and look through everything. also now my internet crashes about every 5 minutes.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Sound & Notifications>When Device Is Locked, and select "Don't show notifications at all."

Are you saying your stock Internet browser crashes? Have you tried other browsers? Try going to the App Manager, select Internet, and Clear Cache. If that doesn't work, try wiping the cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404
