How do I remove the swipe screen?

I have the s6 edge and I just updated to marshmallow. Now there is a swipe screem before my standard lock screem (I use the pattern one) can yoh remove the swipe screen? It messes with my wallpaper and looks ugly when you got a bunch of notifications. Is there a way to remove it?

Did you tied going to settungs - Lockscreen (Etc.) - Lock type - None ?
