How do I reset my ringtone? I hit the wrong option.

I have a note 8 and when I go into "sounds and vibrations" and then go to "ringtone" to change my ringtone, it does not bring up a list of ringtones, just a file folder listing. Can this be reset to the default somehow?

With mine if I go into the same area it brings up my default which is zedge and currently only have one ringtone. I have plenty of SMS tones though for notifications. Do you know what your default is for bringing up ringtones do you use the phones or do you use an app like Zedge

You probably selected the wrong app for selecting ringtones by default. I guess this is a file manager, so you have to go to settings - apps, then find the file manager app, tap on it and then there should be an option to reset default actions.

Scroll further down. There should be a Ringtones folder. (You'll notice the one named Alarms - that's for ... alarm tones. There's also one named Notifications.) Just go to the Ringtones folder to select a ringtone.
