How do I reset the Nexus 6P?

Hi, I am soon to buy the Nexus 6P, but it's a used one. Do any of you know how to reset the phone, so that I can get the fingerprint, accounts ect. to work?

The person selling the phone should do that for you and it should boot up to the screen prompting you to login and configure the phone. On top of that, if they don't do it right, you'll have a bear of a time doing so because of factory reset protection

Well, I haven't quite talked that through with the seller, and I don't know if he knows how to do that. But i'll try and ask him.
