How do I resolve the exclamation point issue next to my wifi icon. I have a droid turbo.

My phone says its connected to wifi but it does not act like it is. Any help acvailable?

I found this happening when my phone was hooked up to my router but the router was not connected to the internet. Do you have an internet connection on WiFi?
