How to root Galaxy s4 mini i257 att

Need some help on how to root the galaxy s4 mini i257. carrier ATT, running android 4.4.2, build number KOT49H.I257UCU2BNK1. tried everything, odin, Kingo root, towelroot, and all the others you can think of. if anybody has found a way to root please let me know.

If Towel Root doesn't work, the kernel date is later than June 2, 2014 (they patched it on the 3rd), so unless someone at Samsung Galaxy S 4 Mini - XDA Forums has found another exploit, you probably can't root it. (You have to do something to cause the system to be rooted temporarily to root it permanently. That's what all these rooting apps and programs do, but there has to be an exploit to do it that someone has found.)

I know this post is really old, but I was able to root mine (same kind) with King Root. I tried all the other popular ones and that's the only one that worked. I think I found the solution on here somewhere.
