Android Central Question

Right now, if I try to save an image that was texted to me in message+, it will only save to Gallery. How do I sync photos and Gallery and/or bypass Gallery altogether?

Check the settings in your texting app and see where it wants to save media files to.
"Gallery" is not a location, it is a picture viewing app. If it can see the pictures, then the pictures are getting saved to your storage somewhere that Gallery can see.

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Google Photos app, tap Menu>Device Folders, and see if the folder where Messages+ saves photos to is shown there. If so, you can tap the cloud icon there to turn on Google Photos backup for that folder.
