How do I send my text messages to my email account on my Android LG K8

I'm trying to send all the text messages from an individual to my email account as a back up

That is usually a feature of the SMS app you are using.
Some apps have it, some do not.
Which SMS app are you using?

If your SMS app does not support that feature, you might be able to save the desired messages to an external file then send the file to your email.
