How do I set ringtone in contacts in my new Samsung S20?

I have a brand new Galaxy S20. There is no long an option to set a specific ringtone for a specific contact in the Contacts app. There is an option to set a vibration pattern but no ringtone. Is there a way to specfiy a ringtone for a individual?

Welcome to Android Central! Since different manufacturers (and even different Android versions within the same brand) can have different settings menus, I moved this from General Help to the S20 forum for more specific traffic. @mustang7757, can you help with this?

Contacts > choose the contract > edit > view more. The option to choose individual ringtone will appear.

Thanks for your reply. This is what I've tried and it is not working. There is no option to set a ringtone, only an option to set a vibration pattern. I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S20.

Allow storage permissions in your screen shot then pick ringtones

Yes, tap storage permissions, give permission and then you should see the choice to pick a custom ringtone.

See that little musical note icon? It's to the left of Allow Storage Permission.

Samsung is showing you that that's where you will click to make a custom sound, but it's telling you explicitly that when you click there you will see the Storage Permissions dialog.

I disagree with that UI choice. It should simply say Ringtone, and then just pop up the permissions dialog as needed, if needed.
