I just got an update for HTC Lock Screen today that adds support for fingerprint scanning. Not sure how to use it though because I have the M9, not the M9 Plus.

The finger scanner feature is good, but i think even if you use it you should use it for short period for fun!
Better to go with pattern lock or just a swipe!

Because if something goes wrong with that app or feature then you go Dumbstruk!

Not sure how it works on the M9+, but on my iPhone if something goes wrong and the scanner misreads 3 times it automatically goes to the pin code screen. You have to set up a pin to use the fingerprint scanner on the 6,
