Welcome to the forums. Does this come up on another browser?

I also got a fake warning. I was browsing on a normal website and suddenly appeared that my phone is at risk or something like this and I had to close the website.... it didn.t let me do anything.

Re: How do i stop fake warnings on google chrome

I think this is just the websites fault rather than the browser itself.

Re: How do i stop fake warnings on google chrome

I've gotten this pop up a lot lately. When I click on the link or what not it takes me to the play store and has me download, (360 security) this happens when I close my browser (Google Chrome) and then come back to the browser or reopen the browser it says this. Does anyone have any idea on fixing this? I have lookout and the 360 security it made me download and no virus show up.

Check your Site settings in Chrome....Do you allow third party cookies ? Delete anything you're not sure of.
I don't think running two A/V's is a good idea.....uses up resources....can cause conflicts, and maybe something can get between. Some are just not compatible with each other even tho' they have good intentions !
Have you visited your Google Account lately ? Check out suspicious behavior, etc., etc.,
Use a good cleaner regularly....CCleaner don't seem to miss much.....everybody has their own preference for a security scanner.

Ya I guess it's the websites fraud instead of browser. It happened to me only when I open certain articles or sites but not all.

Re: How do i stop fake warnings on google chrome

use adblock or other pop-up programs. some of them really useful.

MALWAREBYTES ANTI-MALWARE DOWNLOAD LINK (This link will open a new web page from where you can download “Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free”)
Once downloaded, close all programs, then double-click on the icon on your desktop named “mbam-setup-consumer-2.00.xx” to start the installation of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. You may be presented with a User Account Control dialog asking you if you want to run this file. If this happens, you should click “Yes” to continue with the installation.

Re: How do i stop fake warnings on google chrome

This is a real problem and you can't do a lot about it. what is certain is that in most cases these ads are not harmful. What you can do is to install the AdBlock for mobile, but what I can remember is that Adblock is not working in 3g or 4g mode and only in your Wifi.
