How do I stop Galaxy S3 mini from scanning WIFI.

My S3 Mini is constantly scanning. I cannot find where I go to disable if it it possible. It is scanning even after I am home and on my own secure wifi.

It's a problem for Galaxy users. in Galaxy S3 mini you can easily prevent it.
Follow this tips step by step.

1. Tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
3. tap the Wi-Fi Switch to On.
4. Tap Wi-Fi.
5. Touch and hold on the Wi-Fi network.
6. Tap Forget network.
7. NOTE: The phones will automatically scan for available networks in the vicinity.

I think you can just leave the switch off. At least you can in the S3 and S4. I have a quick toggle in the pull down menu.

With the switch on of course it'll keep searching.
