How do I stop LED from flashing after dismissing a text message alert?

Stop LED from Flashing After Dismissing a Text Message Alert

I have Lollipop on my LG G2. When I get a text message, it shows on the lock screen, which is nice, but I don't always want to go into the message at that point. So I will swipe it away. However, the LED light continues to flash and it's so annoying. How can I set this to turn off if I've dismissed a notification?

Welcome to the forums. Is there a way to change the LED light behavior in Settings, probably Display?

All you can do is set to turn on the notification for different things. I need to receive a notification LED flash, but then if I wake up my phone and swipe away the notification, the LED flash stops as well.
