How do I stop popup ads in MIUI based XIAOMI Redmi note 3 Pro?

How do I stop popup ads in MIUI based XIAOMI Redmi note 3 Pro. This is so disgusting. I'm cant use any app without seeing these adds.

Pop up adds usually come with an app you have downloaded
Find out what the adds are about and you may be able to trace it to a particular app
For example I had a map app on my tablet and I kept getting Uber pop-ups all over the place, very annoying
When I realised it was from the map app I uninstalled it and the Uber pop-up adds disappeared

Settings, notifications, manage notifications, hide notifications.
You can switch off most junk there.
Not all though. It still says something about registering sim card every time it starts up and I still haven't found how to force it to always use Chrome.
