How do I stop the Facebook popup when the phone is unlocked?

Facebook pop up? Can you explain a little more please.

Thanks for the response! The FB notifications bar pops up at the top of the home screen. It covers the top of any application being used. I can't figure out how to keep it from showing up in the foreground.

You can turn the notifications off in the app settings.

or turn off notification for Facebook from the setting > notification > app notifictions

I want the notification to be visible on the app, but I don't want the notification bar to show in everything else I'm viewing. It's almost like being photo bombed...lol, but app bombed!

Having the same problem. Top of screen. Can't turn it off anywhere. .....help

Settings > sounds and notifications > app notifications and select Facebook and block. That will get rid of them period, but it will still red flag on the app icon.
