How do I stop the volume button from beeping when I adjust the volume

Hi all,

This is driving me nuts.

I must have done something because now all of a sudden when I adjust the volume it beeps everytime I click the button. I looked all over the internet and even had a chat with someone on the Samsung site, but they didn't belp me because I was not located in the U.S.A. (not sure why that would be a problem).

Can anyone here help me out?

Okay I got a bit further and a bit confused and unsure. I only hear the beeping noise when no music or other sound (youtube video) is playing.

Now I am unsure if this was always the case and I only now noticed it, or if I really did something to change it and have my tablet behave this way.

Is this normal behaviour?

Okay...when you press the volume button on the top left of the device, you will see the slider, with the cog wheel = (settings) for sound. When you hit that it will show the 3 sliders for each type sound...
The one for notifications is the sound for the sound button as well, but you must be careful here because it will mute All your Notifications as well if those are important to you....Good luck!

This is also bugging me immensely (coming from IOS), and I can't deal with these annoying beeps when adjusting my volumes via the buttons on the side of my phone. I guess it's time to learn about rooting my phone, which seems beyond extreme to just mute these often used, important buttons.
